. . QUEEN - We Are The Champions Live @ Frankfurt, Germany, April 1982. . Peter Hince, Queen’s roadie:. - Queen were a people’s band. They always gave good value and their best show and certainly put their money where their mouth was, continually defying all the critics. At some point, it became unfashionable to like Queen and their music, presumably because they were successful, because, we can’t possibly have that in England: people who are popular AND talented, can we? There have been plenty of one-hit-wonders but to sustain a career in the music business you have to have, above all, quality and talent, determination, belief and endurance in order to achieve a high level. Queen had it, Fred in abundance. He also had an abundance of crap piled on him from some areas of the tabloids, who were only interested in his weaknesses, lifestyle and sexuality. Despite being a very strong-minded man, it did hurt him sometimes. When the fans are getting on to a top football player because he is out of form or not scoring, he answers them in the best way: getting the winning goal. Fred answered the media by writing another hit, by Queen producing another platinum album and getting rave reviews for the record-breaking live show to prove they truly were ‘the champions’. . . Good day everyone! Just a little reminder (as if we needed it ) about how great these guys are, and how they used all the obstacles to get even bigger, because the bigger the better!. . . #FreddieMercury #Queen #Queenband #rock #music #champions #piano #singer #anthem #artist #art #80s #Germany #Frankfurt #roadie #PeterHince #world #live #show #stage #performer #performance #England #lifestyle #hit

. . Farrokh Bulsara. . ▪️ Long ago a boy named Farrokh Bulsara was born. Farrokh, from Persian origin, means ‘happy and fortunate’ so now that only feels like destiny when you think about all the joy he’s brought us. The shy boy from the tropical island managed to become a myth. His music and his voice helped him to do that. To this day, millions of fans swear their loyalty to him. Freddie’s joy in gifting others is often misunderstood and interpreted in such a way that he wanted to brag but insiders know how genuine his gestures were, especially with his fans, whom he loved. He always wanted to give his audience the very best. The close connection of Freddie with his crowd is evident in video footage of live shows and how he always expressed his desires to make others happy with his work, to make the world forget about their problems. . There is a little story of Freddie when he was in Bavaria, one of his favorite restaurants in Montreux when a female fan approached him and he gave her a pack of his cigarettes, signed it and that item is still in the hands of that lucky fan. The only thing he asked for was for them to be thoughtful and to approach him respectfully. In that case, he would never have a bad gesture towards anyone. He signed autographs until the end of his days, no matter if his emotional state would be complicated. . As Peter Freestone said: ‘Freddie always acknowledged the fact that if it wasn’t for the fans he would have nothing. The fans gave him everything. Like the words he sings in ‘We Are The Champions’: ‘The fame, the fortune and everything that goes with it, I thank you all’. And he meant that from his heart’. . . Just wanted to post this little text to remind you how important you were to Freddie and how the media tends to ignore his sweetness towards his fans . . . #FreddieMercury #Montreux #Switzerland #rock #music #Queen #Queenband #love #singer #performer #live #stage #Bavaria #life #Persian #happy #fortune #art #artist #champions #thankyou #Japan #star #tropical #island
